The Zuid-Oost-Brabant concession (Netherlands) covers a region of 750.000 inhabitants with main cities being Eindhoven and Helmond. The Hermes’ fleet is composed of around 215 buses, including the ZeEUS eBuses.
The objective of the Eindhoven demo is to test a network of 43 eBuses, operating around 20 hours every day.


The Eindhoven demo tests 43 full battery electric Citea SLFA-181 buses manufactured by VDL. The vehicles operates on several lines in the city centre and suburban areas. The charging infrastructure that will be used in the Eindhoven demonstration is fast- (during the day) and slow-charging (overnight) by a roof mounted pantograph at the bus depot.


The Eindhoven demo team is led by Hermes Openbaar Vervoer BV.
