Barcelona Demonstration - 2nd Launch Event

On 21 September 2016, the city of Barcelona will inaugurate the operation of new Solaris Urbino E18. The articulated buses are the 2nd vehicle type tested in the ZeEUS project in Barcelona, after the i2e IRIZAR buses which entered into service in October 2014.
The Solaris Urbino E18 buses, which arrived in Barcelona in December 2015, have gone through a long test phase due to a big number of innovations. Two of the main new solutions are the charging system via pantograph and console touch driving.
The event is scheduled from 10:00 to 13:30 and will take place at CaixaForum (Montjuic) and Charging Station (C/ Cisell). If you wish to participate, please contact Franscisco Gonzalez Balmas: fagonzalez@tmb.cat.
