European Bus Forum

European Bus Forum, a one day conference, brings together an audience of key decision makers from bus operators, manufacturers, local authorities & transport executives.
Back in Manchester by popular demand the 2015 European Bus Forum will once again provide an unrivalled conference for collaboration and for the exchanging of information.
Buses can be a cleaner, safer and healthier alternative to car travel and play a significant role in reducing climate change and other environmental objectives; in reducing congestion where they lead to modal shift and in contributing to social inclusion by delivering accessibility, particularly for vulnerable groups.
The right structure for running this invaluable public transport system is imperative and with the recent debates of re-regulation and the devolvement of funds from central government, it really is time to focus on the bus.

During the event, Umberto Guida (UITP) will feature EBSF_2, another bus project coordinated by UITP which aims to increase attractiveness of urban bus systems. Detailed agenda of the conference is available here.
