ZeEUS – Zero Emission Urban Bus System

The biennial UITP World Congress and Exhibition is taking place in Milan (Italy) between the 8th and the 10th of June. It is the biggest event in public transport sector, attracting professionals from all over the world. During the whole event, we invite you to visit the EU projects area on the UITP stand (booth no. 3D110), where you will have a chance to meet the projects’ partners who can tell you more about ZeEUS, its progress and intermediate results.

On the 8th of June, ZeEUS will be showcased twice. In the FOCUS SESSION 1 on electric buses: specifications, product solutions & future outlooks (14:00 – 15:30), Alex DE JONG (VDL) and Hector OLABEGOGEASKOETXEA (IRIZAR) will describe the ZeEUS Demonstrations in Münster and Barcelona. Additionally, during PARALLEL SESSION 5: Technology innovation for buses (16:00 - 17:30), Francisco GONZALEZ BALMAS, (TMB) will focus on the ZeEUS Demonstration in Stockholm and Barcelona. The presentation will explain how these cities linked European project funding from the ZeEUS project with their own e-Bus and zero emission bus strategies for cleaner and more energy efficient bus solutions.

On the 9th of June, the ZeEUS project will be presented on the UITP stand (booth no. 3D110) during EU Research Projects on bus systems session (15:15 – 16:15) by Pauline Bruge (UITP). Following the presentation, we invite you to join the ZeEUS Bus Tour which will extend the electric bus experience by visiting the stands of IRIZAR, SOLARIS, VOLVO and VDL.
