ZeEUS – Zero Emission Urban Bus System

The wait is almost over - the ZeEUS eBus Report #2 will be launched in October with an updated and extended overview of high capacity electric buses in Europe. The participation has been remarkable with 32 new cities joining the 61 cities presented in the first report. Among the new cities, the report will feature the ZeEUS Core Demonstration in Eindhoven with 43 articulated fully electric buses. The map of electric bus operations is completed with new examples from the Nordic countries (e.g. Stavanger, Helsinki, Södertälje), South of Europe (e.g. Lisbon, Bilbao, Milan), Eastern Europe (e.g. Gdynia, Krnov) as well as Western Europe (e.g. Grenoble, Assen, Hannover). The updated report will also see new e-bus manufacturers presenting and listing their products, such as Alstom, ELECTROTRANS, Linkker, UAB Vejo Projectai and Yutong. Beside the sections about cities and manufacturers, a new chapter will feature electric system suppliers for charging infrastructure, such as ABB, Heliox, JEMA ENERGY, Ekoenergetyka, Schunk Carbon Technology and Siemens.

The report will be presented at the Busworld exhibition in Kortrijk (20-25 October, Belgium), the biggest bus and coach exhibition of the world. Do not miss the opportunity to visit the UITP stand (no. 884, hall 8) and get your hard copy. The reports will also be distributed during UITP R&I Day: ZeEUS and other Bus Projects on the 25th of October.
